"But if our Gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost."
- 2 Corinthians 4:3
Do you remember what it felt like when you accepted Jesus into your heart? Maybe you felt like a new person. Maybe you felt like a different person. Maybe you started acting in a new way - a Christ-like way. Well, you say, I don't quite remember what I felt like at that time in my life. That's fine. What is most important is how that decision has made the difference in your life. Our verse tells us that the same Gospel we received should not be hidden from our families and friends. We should want them to get the same feeling that Christ gives a person at the time of salvation and we should do all that we can to reach them. The Gospel is open and available to everybody no matter who you are and no matter where you come from. It is not hidden for us to go and seek it out. God loves it when we share His love and gift of salvation with others. Think about it: If the Gospel was hidden from us at our time of being lost, how would we have found it? How would our lives be different today because of finding that Gospel?
