Gratefully Yours, by Shelia E. Lipsey

Lord, I woke up this morning because of your grace. Immediately there was turmoil that tried to force its way into my day. But because of your grace I am still standing. I am more than a conqueror. I am above and not beneath.
Don't you wake up sometimes and feel that your day has already ended before it can get started? There are times when we are quickly bombarded with issues, problems, and situations as soon as God opens our eyes. There are times when you experience strife and turmoil as soon as you walk into the place of work. There are family problems, financial burdens, recession talk, unemployment woes, crises on our turf and overseas; all over the world! Everywhere we look, as far as our finite eyes can see and our limited brains can think, there is something that we can find disturbing.
This week I want to remind you that we should be determined to set our minds on God. When problems arise and they will, let us take a stance against the enemy's tactics, plots and plans. Let us embrace a grateful attitude toward God. Remember that even when we are tempted, God includes a way of escape for His children. God is good like that. When your car breaks down on your way to work, have a gratefully yours attitude. When the light bill is due and you have received your last unemployment extension, it's time to have a gratefully yours attitude.
You are probably saying to yourself that I'm talking crazy, but I'm telling you what I know from my own personal experiences. I've seen the good, bad and the ugly. I have learned that in this life we are definitely going to have trials and tribulations, but God is oh so right when he says to us, 'be of good cheer for I have overcome the world.' His words are so powerful. His promises are so on point. His grace never ends and His mercies are new each and every morning. He will never allow us to be alone and every single, solitary incident that the enemy means to take us down, our God can turn it around and suddenly make that situation work out for our good.
There is no failure in God. He loves us unconditionally, perfectly and without fault. Give the ultimate thanksgiving to God. Let Him know that you are gratefully His. Review your life, praise God from whom all blessings flow.
I Am Gratefully Yours, Lord
