Praise The Lord From On High Saints:
To many times we are praising and seeking to please man but we are displeasing God. I am a God pleaser not a man deceiver. Remember, what Jesus said, for they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.)
Jesus gives us many gifts but what are we using them for, are we using them at all? When Jesus ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.To many times we are praising and seeking to please man but we are displeasing God. I am a God pleaser not a man deceiver. Remember, what Jesus said, for they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.)
The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: The Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in The Holy Place. Thou hast ascended on high, Thou hast led captivity captive: Thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that The LORD God might dwell among them. Blessed be The Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even The God of our salvation. Selah. Ephesians 4:8 and Psalm 68:17-19
Paul encourages us to covet earnestly the best gifts. ..But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way. 1 Corinthians 12:31
God's words teaches us of some of these gifts and what they are to be used for, some would say these are not gifts but if we read Ephesians 4:7 through 15, we can clearly see these are gifts according to the scriptures not according to man.
But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
Here Is Why: For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of The Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
But many are teaching no one can be perfect; are we listen to lying spirits or just void of wisdom and understanding in the meaning of this word perfect? You may not be perfect in mans sight so don't even try but Yes, you can be in God's sight. We need to look up this word perfect in the scriptures and how many time it is used and how it is used, if we do so we will come out with some knowledge and a better understanding. (Let's use two more examples,
(1) 1 Corinthians 2:6-7 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: 7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory)
(2) Matthew 5:48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as Your Father in heaven is perfect.
I love what Paul wrote in Galatians chapter one.
Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God The Father, who raised Him from the dead;) 3 Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, 4 Who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father: 5 To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. 10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
12-16 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by The Revelation of Jesus Christ. For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it: And profited in the Jews' religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers. But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by His Grace, To reveal His Son in me, that I might preach Him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood: ..
I don't know about you but I seek for the praises of God, I want Him to say this is my beloved daughter in whom I am well pleased! Praise The Lord!!
The blessing of The LORD God and The Lord Jesus be upon you all.
A daughter and a friend of God The Father and a sister and friend of His Son The Lord Jesus Christ!
