Reverend Matthew Smith III was born on December 25, 1965 in Birmingham, Alabama. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at age 16, and was baptized soon thereafter. After graduating from high school, he joined the United States Navy, where he served faithfully for nine years. On December 31, 1990, he accepted and announced his calling to the Gospel ministry. The accepting of this call would impact his life forever. He has been married to his wonderful wife Rachelle for over eighteen years, and is the father of three beautiful children and two grand children. Pastor Smith has served in a variety of ministry capacities: as a Deacon, Associate Minister, Staff Associate Pastor, and as Senior Pastor. He is Director and founder of Forever Yours Marriage conferences and is Co-founder of Tri-City Ministries of Northern California. Pastor Smith graduated from Faith Theological Seminary with his Masters of Theology. Pastor Smith organized Grace Cathedral Community Church, of San Leandro, in May 2000. After 6 years of labor in the San Leandro vineyard, God moved him to Tracy, Ca. to build and re-build the lives of both His people and The Lost. The church name was changed to New Covenant Christian Fellowship and is blessed by God to become a sanctuary to the world. In this very short time Pastor Smith has been responsible for organizing and conducting many Forever Your Marriage Conferences, plus a variety of other dynamic ministries: Marriage, Singles, Youth & Children, Men and Women's Ministries, Boys To Men mentor ministry and T.A.G. (Talented and Anointed Girls) and a host of other anointed ministries to edify the body of Christ and win the Lost. He has spearheaded for the last 4 years a Free Community Block Party where over 80 souls have been added to the Kingdom of Heaven. The New Covenant Christian Fellowship church website (
