Isaiah 61:1 states, "The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound."
When people look at you, what do they see? Do you even care? I mean really? Should you care? You see, when folks look at you technically they can only see the outside. They see what you show them. But inside of you is a gift or gifts. It's like when you're given a gift in a box. The box is not the gift. The gift is on the inside of the box. From looking at the outside, you aren't likely to know--with assurance--what's on the inside. You'll have to open up the box to make visible the gift that is housed inside.
Matthew 17:27 says, "Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast a hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee."
What are you waiting on to happen before you're satisfied? What are you waiting on to be happy? What are you waiting on to feel like you've made it? What are you waiting on to take out and eat off your best china, drink out of your crystal glass?
