"And, behold, I come quickly; and
my reward
is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am
Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last."
--Revelation
22:12-13

"The root of all difficulties is
a lack of
the sense of the Presence of God."
--Emmett Fox

MOTIVATING VERSE:
"And whatsoever ye shall ask in
my name,
that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye
shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it."
--John
14:13-14
PRAYER
QUOTE:
"Is
the Son of God praying in me, or am I dictating to Him?....Prayer is
not simply getting things from God, that is a most initial form of
prayer; prayer is getting into perfect communion with God. If the Son
of God is formed in us by regeneration, He will press forward in front
of our common sense and change our attitude to the things about which
we pray."
--Oswald
Chambers

MOTIVATING
VERSE:
"Not
by works of righteousness which we
have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of
regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost"
--Titus 3:5
SOUL-WINNING
QUOTE:
"It is of no use for any of you
to try to
be soul-winners if you are not bearing fruit in your own lives. How can
you serve the Lord with your lips if you do not serve Him with your
lives.? How can you preach His gospel with your tongues, when with
hands, feet, and heart you are preaching the devil’s gospel,
and
setting up an antichrist by your practical unholiness?"
--Charles
Haddon
Spurgeon

I am extremely saddened by what I heard. My sadness is not from the biblical lunacy of Thomas Weeks or his ex-wife Juanita, my sadness is for those who sat and listened to him assuming he was telling them truth. I have never heard such a blantant misrepresentation of scripture as his version of Hebrews 13:4. Only a demonized idiot would believe that this is a license to 'cuss and talk dirty' in the bedroom. At no time should 'cussing and profanity' be acceptable to believers. Maybe this false bishop should re-read Matthew 15:11 and Matthew 15:18.
Does not the Bible teach us that we should [2Ti 2:15], “Study to show yourself approved to God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” I cannot believe that an anointed man of God titled a bishop will error in such a way! There most be an explanation! More so, looking into the crowd and could see some familiar faces that by their disposition, it would seem as, if they are in agreement with this teaching!
Now the bible tells us that the time is going to come when "some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons. speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron." [1Ti4:1-2] Let me say first of all, that I am not attacking the man, for if he is anointed of God, it is not my place to touch him. Yet it is our place, as watchmen on the wall, to alert God's people of impending danger! This doctrine/teaching is very dangerous in so many ways, but I will only speak briefly few aspects! May be, there was the famous error of content/context!
The peace of scripture that the bishop uses was taken from Heb 13:4 and in itself it could mean all things to all people of the world but not to true believers! The chapter starts out with the mention of brotherly love; entertaining folks; remembering does who are in need. These are all positive things! Then the writer goes on to say "Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled." Where as at first glance it may seem odd that this would be thrown into this train of thought--brotherly love, entertainment, and remembering others, it fits perfectly, because God is giving us a spiritual and moral standard to follow even in the bedroom! The Spirit of God was expressing one main idea in two sweeps "Be morally good/clean/pure as brothers and sisters in Christ even in your marriage" The writer through the Spirit was saying to the people as you live in an acceptable way with God, be morally minded and as for marriage it is ok to be married and what takes place within the confinements of your bedroom/sex is ok! In other words sex is morally correct if it is done in the union of marriage between a man and a woman but not if you are not married. This is why the writer took the time to mention that fornicators and adulterers God will judge, why because it is not morally correct in the eyes of God to have sex outside of marriage!
Finally, the Spirit of God through the writer uses the word "undefiled" the Greek word is Amiantos wich derive from the other Greek word Miaino which means tainted or contaminated. Thus using Amiantos, an "A" reverses its meaning to without as in un-defiled [not defiled] but pure and clean! Therefore to teach that you ought to talk with filthy language to your spouse in the bed room is ok, is bad doctrine and it falls under apostasy. Notice, I have not called the man of God an apostate but what I am saying that this teaching is apostate-like!
As a pastor of CTCM we teach and believe that "death and life are in the power of the tongue..." Thus I say to my congregation every Sunday if we are not building each other up with our communication we are tearing each other down, there is no in-between. I hope that my comments will not offend anyone but that it will help us all, including myself to study more to show ourselves approve onto God and His people, God Bless!
Maybe this why the Bishop and his wife are no longer together. "As a man thinketh so is he"

The peace of scripture that the bishop uses was taken from Heb 13:4 and in itself it could mean a lot of things to many people in the world but not to “true worshippers!” The chapter starts out with the mention of “brotherly love;” “entertaining folks;” “remembering those who are in need.” These are all positive things! How then could it be followed by “go ahead and to the nasty—be filthy one with another especially when you are ready to make love.” Should I continue? The writer then goes on to say "Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled." Where as at first glance it may seem odd that this would be thrown into this train of thoughts—brotherly love, entertainment, and remembering others; I argue that it fits perfectly! Why you ask, because God is giving us a spiritual and moral standard to follow even in the bedroom! If you ought to be nice to your Christian Brother and Sister should you not be with your wife/husband? According to the bishop teaching, we are not to be this is the time for the nasty Christian you to come out! This does not even sound right to a kindergarten much less to a room full of Christians, hmmmm? The Spirit of God was expressing one main idea in two sweeps "Be morally good/clean/pure as brothers and sisters in Christ and do the same, even in your marriage" The writer through the Spirit was saying to the people as you live in an acceptable way with God, be morally minded and as for marriage it is ok to be married and what takes place within the confinements of your bedroom/sex is ok! Also, from when is it acceptable in or out of the bed/bedroom/marriage to involve ourselves with “filthiness nor foolish talking, nor jesting?” [Eph 5:4]. Bishop with all do respect, when you first did it in elementary school you should have left it there—as you said, “it did not even sound right!” If it did not sound right then, how in the world will it sound right in our bed room? But I did promise to keep it to a few thoughts so I will move on!
Finally, the Spirit of God through the writer uses the word "undefiled" the Greek word is Amiantos wich derive from the other Greek word Miaino which means tainted or contaminated. Thus using Amiantos, tells us that we ought to be pure not filthy (an "A" in front of the word reverses its meaning to without as in un-defiled [not defiled] but pure and clean!) I hope that my comments will not offend anyone but that it will help us all, including myself to study more to show ourselves approve onto God and His people, God Bless! Bishop, it is my prayer and great hope that you will go back and read this chapter and agree that what was said was done in error and poor judgment as we all fall into at times! God help us all!
I am a white guy, but in Christ we are all brothers and sisters.
Cussing and dirty talk reveals the inward man whether in private or public. The use of foul language becomes habitual and even when intended only for private will eventually reveal itself to tarnish one's witness of Christ. The scriptures tell us not to be double minded. When our lives are not consistent between public and private, we are double minded. When we are not consistently righteous, we are sinning. Satan loves the bedroom where we let down our guard. It is our private time that Satan studies to find our weaknesses. We must gird up our armor in private and public to gain the righteous strength to resist sin… to resist the devil.

What in the world?????
And we KNOW that the devil IS a LIAR!
This is SO pathetic. How many people will be messed up behind this king of thinking and TEACHING!!!!
Let's Pray!!!
To denounce this heresy is not to violate the Lord's anointed. It is to protect the sheep and sound the alarm lest they be harmed through deception. This teaching is nothing short of heretical and a doctrine of devils. Even men called to represent the Lord can become themselves defiled by meditating on those things that men of carnal desires offer to the world to please the lusts of the flesh.
I do not judge this preachers calling, that is not my responsibility. But I can judge the soundness of his message based upon his handling of the Word of God. It is erroneous and injurious to the body of Christ.
Aside from being a gross misrepresentation of the text, this "word" is a dangerous impartation that opens the door for all manner of debauchery and perversion that will neither honor the Lord nor bring true pleasure into the intimate relationships of those who dare to practice what he preached.
We are in the midst of trying times as there literally seems to be a great falling away taking place before our very eyes. What a season for true Apostles and Prophets who will stand up and present an unfettered, uncontaminated word of DOCTRINE; REPROOF; and CORRECTION to friend and foe alike. I pray that Bishop Week's covering will correct this error of judgement and exegesis so that it will not be repeated. May the saints take notice and beware of all who sat by and affirmed it as if it were deep revelation.
We must pray for a return to the the unadulterated Word of the Lord that is not entertainment based. And we must pray for our leaders and our congregants that we will all have the courage to stay true to the Lord and the purity of His word in this season of great deception.
