Kevin D. Barnes, Sr. was born and raised in Donald- sonville,
Louisiana. He is married to the lovely Brenda Barnes and is the father
of three sons: Kevin Jr., Keith, and Kenneth Barnes. In July 1986,
Pastor Kevin Barnes received his license to preach and delivered his
first sermon at his home church, White Oak Grove in Oak- land,
California.
Pastor Barnes atten- ded the Bay Cities Bible Institute and the
Sacramento Theo- logical Seminary Bible College, and was later ordained
a minister of the Gospel. He was elected pastor of the Abyssinian Miss-
ionary Baptist Church in Oakland, CA in January 1992. Since being
elected Pastor, his primary focus has been winning souls and
encouraging the people of God.

What an interesting video. I would LOVE to have a black president, just not a liberal one. I wonder if the black candidate were conservative if he/she would get as much support? Is this just me, or does it seem like when a Republican appoints minorities to the cabinet (Condi Rice for example), it's not as well regarded as if a Democrat does. Like you can't be a REAL minority if you are conservative. Do you all (who are minorities) feel that way?
