Speaking in Turkey today, President Obama stated, that America was not a Christian, Jewish or Muslim Nation. It should go without saying that this has not made everyone happy...

Obama said "one of the great strengths of the United States" is that it does not consider itself "a Christian nation or a Jewish nation or a Muslim nation. We consider ourselves a nation of citizens who are bound by ideals and a set of values. I think modern Turkey was founded with a similar set of principles."

America is a Christian nation, but America isn’t a Christian nation. The Constitution states we are one nation under God, therefore no one church denomination or religious group will be rule us. Simple put, Obama is a smooth operator.
