Focus on the Family's James and Shirley Dobson said they've not yet been invited to a White House event. They said they haven't gotten a response to their request for a White House speaker at the annual breakfast on Capitol Hill either.

Joshua DuBois, who heads the White House Office of Faith Based and Neighborhood Partnerships, said it's too early to reveal the president's plans for the day, which is the first Thursday in May.

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said he's unaware of those plans though he "can't imagine" nothing is on the schedule.

Gibbs also said the "president prays each day, whether it's National Prayer Day or not."
