Rough seas have forced organizers to rearrange the schedule for open-water swimming events at the world championships.
The men's and women's 5-kilometer races scheduled for Sunday have been pushed back to Tuesday, both 10K races will be held Thursday and both 25K events will take place next Saturday.
The races will remain at Rome's seaside in Ostia.
High winds and waves overnight destroyed the starting dock set up for the races and disturbed timing equipment.
