President Obama pushed bipartisanship throughout his State of the Union address and the administration says it's serious about working with Republicans to get America's issues resolved.
Valerie Jarrett, senior adviser to Obama, told CBN News the latest Republican to head to Washington-- Massachusetts Sen. Scott Brown-- actually has something in common with the president.
"I think part of what happened in Massachusetts with Sen. Brown is that same kind of enthusiasm on behalf of the Republican party that propelled him to office," she said. "So hopefully that's a wake-up call to the Republican party to say 'let's all figure out how we can all work together' and remember why we were all elected and sent to Washington."
