In a rousing prayer session, led by Dr. Rick Scarborough of Vision America, Bishop Jackson spoke briefly and prayed for Tea Party conventioneers last night. During his remarks, the bishop declared, "I have not found Nazis here or racists here. I have found Americans who love their country and are prepared to stand up for the values we believe in."

Jackson added, "We do not care that Obama is black, we just want him to be red, white and blue."

Bishop E.W. Jackson is President of STAND -- Staying True to America's National Destiny. In addition to speaking last night, he will be joining Dr. Scarborough for a break out session on Saturday morning to help organize pastors to advance Christian values in the public square.

Says Jackson, "I am one of the most blessed people on earth to have been born a citizen of the United States of America. My forefather paid the price of slavery for me to be here, and I love this country. I do not like what President Obama is doing to it. The Tea Party offers tremendous hope of voting out the people who are taking this country in an unconstitutional and ungodly direction. I support them wholeheartedly and urge black Christians and all black Americans who hold Judeo-Christian values to join with them."

Bishop Jackson and Dr. Scarborugh are working to bring people together across racial and cultural lines, as Jackson puts it, "To stand up for the values which made this nation great."

Blacks, don't you know that God turned things around for our good. Our black ancestors were introduced to Jesus Christ by the our ancestors white ancestors. There is no better gift anyone can receive than the gift of eternal life. Eternal life (not death) is received only through Christ. Obama sees Christ as just a good man who did good deeds.

Forgive, brothers and sisters, forgive and do the right thing. Follow Christ. Live a life pleasing to Him.

Bishop E. W. Jackson why don't you stand before the tea party and remind them good Christian folks that if they are Christ's people called by Christ's Name, ask them to turn from their wicked ways, pray seek Christ's face. Christ promised that he would heal anything that was ailing this good old USA. You can tell them that God don't like name calling. You can also tell them that Love will cover a multitude of sins, including President Obama's.

Why not try Jesus way instead of some dissatisfied Republican Party Members

AMEN!

Yes, True love can cover a multitude of sin. Even the bitterness and hated you seem have towards the members of the Tea Party. God is a loving God, and He will forgive you once you repent. I said, "seem to have" because I don't know for sure. Only you and God know.

My dear Mr. Jackson,
It is very refreshing to hear a black person finally speaking truth about the liberalist propaganda that is so popular in the mainstream media these days. Just as refreshing as when I first read about Malcolm X and his attitude about blacks taking responsibility for their own advancement and progress in life instead of relying on government and white people's pity. Unfortunately, his radical viewpoint made some in the black community so mad they were willing to commit murder. I don't agree with everything he said, (I usually don't with anyone), but it is always good to hear when someone is willing to speak the truth instead of yielding to what may be considered politically correct. Forgive me for waxing nostalgic, but it seems that back in the sixties and early seventies we were making real progress toward breaking down the barriers of racism that have held us back for so long. Something happened since those days and I'm not sure exactly why. I work for a company that is both multinational and multicultural. When I speak with people from Ghana, Nigeria, Haiti, Sudan, and many other countries where the people have problems that Americans can never really understand because of the good lives they lead here, and you can hear in their voices the enthusiasm and hope that just being able to participate in our great system affords them, it makes me feel proud. Only capitalism could have accomplished this. Capitalism builds, socialism destroys. I was having a discussion with a chemist from Ghana the other day and he was trying to understand why American blacks were so mad all the time and why they didn't appreciate all the wonderful opportunities that living here afforded them. The only way that I could respond was by saying,"That's what happens when you give someone something that they didn't work for." Everything that we have in this country someone had to work for at some point in time and I thank my ancestors and the Lord that they had the foresight to do the hard work instead of taking the easy path. The path you have chosen is extremely difficult and I pray that you will be successful and the Lord gives you the strength to carry on when your adversaries assail you with threats, lies, and false accusations. You are a true inspiration to us all and I want you to know that I will be participating in a tax day tea party in Wayne, PA. next week. The U.S. government has wasted too much of our hard earned money on socialist schemes. Enough is enough already.

May the Lord bless you brightly!
