Free Screening of Positive Stories of Black Marriage on March 18th

"We didn't like the images portrayed of us, so we decided to make our ow,n" says the trailer for a film called "Happily Ever After," which screens free at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Tivoli. From the makers of the website Black and Married With Kids, it examines the state of African-American matrimony from a positive perspective, interviewing couples who are making it work by doing the work.

The Tivoli is at 6350 Delmar in University City. Doors open at 6 p.m. There will be a panel discussion after the film.
