Not many Ghanaian artistes openly comment about how many copies of their albums have been sold, especially when there are arguments that the system should make it possible for people to access such information.
But new gospel artiste Isaac Wilson, otherwise called Ike, seems to have his own outlook in that regard. The new kid on the block, a Fante native born in Accra but now based in Canada, released his maiden album 'Me Nyame' in December last year.
Since then, his road to stardom has kept glittering by the day. The album, produced by Jeripher Oppong under Jerivan Music Record Label, has thought-provoking songs such as 'W'agye Me', 'Me Nyame', 'Mommra', 'Beko Ma Me', 'Adom', and 'Mmere Pa'. Already two videos from the album for songs 'Me Nyame' and 'Wagye Me' are rolling on the screens.
Ike has since managed to endear himself to music audiences both at home and abroad. He has performed on quite a number of shows in Canada as well as the USA. Back at home he made appearances on Music Music, Soundz Splash and number of radio and TV interviews a few months ago.
