Officials with Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays & Gays (PFOX) recently sent a letter to the Center for Disease Control (CDC) asking the Obama administration to remove links on the website ridiculing and attacking Christian organizations that help individuals with their unwanted homosexual attractions.

The letter addressed the concern that the CDC website, "Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Health Youth Sources," is violating its own anti-discrimination polices by providing links on the site to numerous pro-gay and homosexual advocates sites. They also fail to provide any links on the site to organizations or other resources that do not affirm homosexual behavior.
The government's website also provides links to websites dedicated to advocating anti-heterosexual publications and organizations, including PFLAG, which has been critical of former homosexuals.
One link provided sent users to Just the Facts, a well known publication which had previously advocated against certain Christian ministries who supported reparative therapy. Their site only provided links to certain religious institutions that support or endorse homosexual behavior, further promoting behavior many Christians do not endorse.
"How do these links 'meet scientific standards supported by published, evidence-based studies,' as the CDC claims?" Regina Griggs, PFOX's executive director, told Christian News Wire.
"The CDC's link to Trevor Space: News and Networking describes itself as 'a social networking site for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning youth ages 13 through 24.' What is scientific about this?" she added.
