103-year-old Mother Emma Hicks is the embodiment of Psalm 91:16 which says, "With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation."

Thousands clapped in celebration Sunday when Bishop TD Jakes acknowledged her upcoming birthday at The Potter's House 9 AM service in Dallas, TX.
"Mother did something right," Jakes said, noting the extraordinary longevity God has granted Mother Hicks who was born November 28 in 1909.
She will officially turn 103 Wednesday.
Surely, her family has that, among other things, to be grateful for this holiday season.
Adorned in a red sweater, the gray-haired church mother smiled and waved from her seat to the cheering audience gathered to enjoy worship and the word.
