Don Nash, currently a senior broadcast producer on the troubled morning show, will take the day-to-day reins from Jim Bell on December 1st. Bell is moving to a new, full-time position at NBC Sports, where he will lead the network's Olympics coverage.
Nash is technically the No. 2 at "Today" now. Alexandra Wallace was recently named as the overall executive in charge of the four-hour show. He has been with "Today" for 23 years, where he climbed the producing ranks and finally ended up running the show from the control room every morning.
