Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman Says the World Is Not Paying Attention to the Threats That Israel Faces

Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman expressed his anger over the lack of support for the his country's right to build on contested land in the West Bank, known biblically as Judea and Samaria.

Lieberman criticized international policy toward the Palestinians, saying that many world leaders are willing to sacrifice Israel to radical Islam.

He also said the international community is ignoring ongoing threats to the nation, such as continued calls for Israel's destruction from the terror group Hamas.

"My sense is that all the promises and commitments to Israel's security are mere words," Lieberman said at a diplomatic conference Tuesday.
