And he is a fan favourite in Texas, especially amongst the franchise's younger supporters.
As it's the festive season, Line gave 25 children disadvantaged families a Christmas gift by taking them shopping for toys.
It looked like an expensive trip but Lin was full of Christmas spirit.
He should be - Houston have won four of their last five games and Lin scored 18 points during the win over Philadelphia on Wednesday.
The Rockets host the Memphis Grizzlies at the Toyota Center on Saturday .
