No surprises here: Katie Couric's talk show has been renewed for a second season.

Deadline reported Wednesday that ABC has given "Katie" the green light for Season 2.
The move was essentially a foregone conclusion. Though it has not been without its critics, the show has consistently been the highest rated of the new crop of daytime programs which premiered last September, and Couric drew praise for her recent, buzzy interview with Manti Te'o.
