Kim Kardashian and her baby daddy Kanye West decided to strike a pose for the cameras while sightseeing in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on Saturday, Feb. 9.
While standing in front of the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue, Kardashian -- who wore a curve-hugging bright pink dress that showed off her blossoming baby bump -- posed with her arms outstretched as she imitated the famous stance for photographers. Then, West joined her, replicating the statue as he giggled alongside his lady love.
The pregnant reality TV star, 32, and the controversial rapper, 35, were affectionate as they toured the city, admiring the sights and taking in the culture. But did they go too far by mimicking the central figure of Christianity?
This is not the first time West has likened himself to Christ. He stirred up a bit of controversy when he appeared on the February 2006 cover of Rolling Stone as Jesus during the crucifixion, sporting a beard and wearing a crown of thorns on his head with dried blood on his face. The issue was titled "The Passion of Kanye West."
And more recently, West wore a a sweatshirt featuring Christ during his performance at the 12.12.12 concert for Hurricane Sandy Relief in New York City. Also at the show, he performed his hit song "Jesus Walks."
