Is Obama Dispatching his Preacher Boy Al Sharpton to Chicago to Stem the Violence or to Whip the Black Preachers Into Allowing Homosexual Marriage to Pass in Illinois?

The Rev Al Sharpton says he wants to personally put Chicago's violence problem in the national spotlight by spending a few months working in the city.
The civil rights activist was in town to speak about a new youth mentoring program in Chicago and to talk about the upcoming 50th anniversary of the march on Washington.

Sharpton says he plans to collaborate with community leaders and pastors in their anti-violence efforts--much like Martin Luther King Jr did during his stay in Chicago.

Sharpton says he and Martin Luther King III will also hold a march in Chicago in August.
