BCNN1's 2012 Woman of the Year

BCNN1's 2012 Woman of the Year
The BCNN1 Woman of the Year selection recognizes women of faith who impact culture and society with their Christian worldview. In Matthew 5, Jesus Christ calls His followers to be salt and light in the world. He states clearly, "Ye are the salt of the earth...Ye are the light of the world." This recognition highlights the women who have been salt and light in an increasingly dark society.

One of the most effective ways to challenge and influence culture is through the written word published on the largest communication medium in history -- the internet. These women have used the internet and their God-given gifts to speak out on important issues that shaped our culture in 2012. This recognition highlights that contribution.
