The Spirit of Assassination, by Dr. Yvonne Capehart, is an eye-opener as to why Christian leaders are engaging in sinful activities, losing their testimony for Christ, and falling by the wayside. Jesus Christ, before His death shared with His disciples that the "prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me" (John 14:30). Jesus, Who knows better than anyone, the destruction that satan purposes to cause to Christians tells us in His last discourse to His disciples: "I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil" (John 17:15). Dr. Capehart asks this question: "What's going on?"
Dr. Capehart asked God these questions and more, and it didn't take long for her to begin receiving answers--answers that she shares with us in The Spirit of Assassination. Dr. Capehart says: "Aside from showing me our blatant failure to prepare believers for the attacks that will inevitably come against them for their dedication to walk in their God-given destiny, He showed me that the enemy, in desperation, has now loosed upon the Church the spirit of assassination. What is this spirit that has been loosed against us and is doing so much damage? How can we deal with this turn of events? What is our individual responsibility? And what is our corporate responsibility? These are important questions and ones that I propose to answer with this book. I believe the answers will literally save the lives of those who will read it."
Dr. Yvonne Capehart is the founder of Sister Keeper International Ministries Crusade, a network for Women in Ministry on local, state, and international levels. She is the President of 2BLEEV Music Company and Founder of Y C Publishing Company. Dr. Capehart has also appeared on Daystar, TBN, Sisters and several other television and radio programs.
Dr. Capehart is also the founder of Project H.O.P.E. an interactive program designed to build twenty (20) homes for various families. To date four homes have been built through this program. She is also the founder of RB's House (Reaching Beyond the Sky), a home for young women implemented in February 2003 which is a safe haven for young women recovering from life's dilemmas and struggles.
Dr. Capehart received her BA degree in Special Education at the University of West Florida in 1991 and received her Master in Educational Leadership in 1998, also from the University of West Florida. Dr. Capehart received her doctorate in Pastoral Counseling and Psychology in May 2001.
Dr. Capehart has released several projects inspired by God: "I Speak Life In You" musical CD; "Destiny is Calling You" musical CD; and two books entitled: After All I've Been Through, I'm Still Here, with a Praise and Drawn to Destiny.
Dr. Capehart is married to Pastor Lee Capehart, of Believer's Life Center, in Pensacola, FL. They have two sons Brandon and Britton.
With the Love for God, and a clear understanding of her purpose in Christ, the Lord has given Dr. Capehart a Prophetic Deliverance Ministry to heal the wounded heart, the broken in spirit and to encourage others to step out on faith as they strive to reach their destiny in God.
