Pacman
Praying for
Don Imus
At least Don Imus can take
comfort in knowing that he has Adam (Don't Call Me Pacman -- Or Else)
Jones' spiritual support. Imus, the syndicated radio host who was fired
for making racially and sexually insensitive remarks about the Rutgers
women's basketball team last year, set off another firestorm Monday by
asking "What color is he?" after hearing Jones' lengthy rap sheet. Told
that the Cowboys cornerback is African American, Imus said: "Well,
there you go. Now we know." [Read More.]

Shaquille O'Neal will lose his
special deputy's badge in Maricopa County because of language he used
in a rap video that mocks former teammate Kobe Bryant. Maricopa County
Sheriff Joe Arpaio said the Phoenix Suns center's use of a racially
derogatory word and other foul language left him no choice. Arpaio made
Shaq a special deputy in 2006 and promoted him to colonel of his
largely ceremonial posse later that year. [Read More]

(Video)
With Russell and Havlicek
sitting courtside, and Red surely lighting up a victory cigar

Superstar, Dwayne Wade, Buys his Mother a Church Building
(Video)
Dwyane Wade sat in
the first pew Sunday afternoon, looked at his mother, and simply
couldn't hide his emotions. She had made him cry often before. This
time, it was different. "This is tears of joy," he said, beaming.
"Tears of joy for my mother." Before she was known as the mother of the
Miami Heat superstar and 2006 NBA Finals MVP, Jolinda Wade was known as
an inmate, a fugitive, a drug user and drug seller. Her life turned
around seven years ago when, after years of urging by her children, she
got help and got clean. Along the way, she devoted her life to
spreading the word of God, starting her first ministry while doing time
